I must say it was a pleasant experience of buying a pre-owned car. Mark and Adam were very friendly and kind with their warm hospitality! Mark was patient enough to clear all my queries which helped us to feel confident about the deal. It’s our first car in UK and we are very happy that we chose Checkedcars. They were always clear about the facts. During the test drive, without any hesitation Mark handed over the key and requested us to take as much time we needed to check the car. I'm deeply disappointed by the recent actions of the dealership. Despite their initial assurance of a free battery replacement I sent pictures of warning lights to dealership by wattsapp within an hour of purchase, they later backtracked and demanded payment. This situation not only caused distress to my 18-year-old daughter, who was in a difficult position at the time, but also raised serious ethical questions.His wording saying my daughter instructed them to remove and replace old one even though having no authority to do such a thing . He did however instruct them too after she said she couldn’t pay and raising you’d stated in messages free of charge for battery and what an awful position you put her in The decision to reinstall the old battery, despite it being at a critical level, shows a concerning disregard for safety. Even more troubling is the implication that the clutch issue was intentionally caused by the driver by burning it out on purpose saying he drove off angry as you’d made my daughter upset and cry .This baseless accusation is unjust and damaging, especially when the AA suggested a pedal to the floor possible hydraulics or flywheel problem new clutch maybe needs replacing ( which is being done by a further garage of our choice after paying to tow it as not road worthy) Within days of purchasing the car, I find myself extremely dissatisfied and doubting the professionalism of the dealership. It's concerning to note that the business lacks accreditation with The Motor Ombudsman. The handling of these matters reflects a lack of integrity and a failure to prioritize customer safety.In the words of Mark there’s nothing wrong with the car ( yet it’s not roadworthy) I strongly discourage anyone from considering this dealership for their purchases. It's important to share my experience to raise awareness about potential violations of consumer rights and the lack of ethical conduct. Paying for a car only to find it in an unfit condition within days and now paying out for tow and repairs
