No proof of work done as agreed prior to sale. No engagement in dispute resolution. Not accredited with the motor ombudsman or any other dispute resolution schemes, making disputes very difficult to resolve. Instead of engaging with our points, blatantly misrepresented our concerns on several occasions. When we addressed CheckedCars most-recent reply point by point, pointing out numerous falsehoods and errors, they responded with "you left us a bad review therefore there will be no further communication". Please note, CheckedCars did not engage appropriately with our concerns prior to the review. Therefore, using a negative review (which is factual) is a completely invalid excuse. Dealer will likely reply with another fabrication or misrepresentation. Dealer seems to believe that they should be immune to negative reviews.

Cannot fault the service. Enquired about a car online, agreed a deposit and for the car to be delivered due to work commitments. Car arrived spotlessly clean and exactly as described, if not better. Took it to my local garage for an inspection ( I do this with any car I buy for my own peace of mind) and was told the car was perfect. No issues whatsoever. Will highly recommend and will be my first choice should I require a car in the future

Pros - No pressure when looking at vehicles - Decent handshake on arrival- Easy to deal with until things go wrong- Must be the UKs biggest greenhouse outside of the Eden project in Cornwall - Lovely smell of horse manure that takes me back to some lovely country walks in my early 20s Cons - Doesn’t take the time to understand what a customer is asking/saying - No paperwork provided for repair work that should have been completed prior to sale- Communication/language isn’t always professional - Doesn’t understand what their warranty does and doesn’t cover- More concerned about giving the illusion of great customer service without actually providing it- Prematurely lists vehicles on their website, I.e, when they’re nowhere near in a sellable condition - No transparency as to where services and repair work are carried out

You remain anonymous for a reason. You came to visit our premises during the break at easter. I have the privilege of having my grandchildren come to the unit and enjoy the day. We are so fortunate with this location, the setting is wonderful and children can play without worry. I was uncomfortable with your presence as were the children. Incredibly rude salesman on the phone. Literally hung up on me while I was asking questions about the vehicle. I enquired about receipts regarding work done on a vehicle and he went on a rant about MoTs being a "government thing" and how he couldn't be expected to know about a vehicle he was selling. Then I asked about the bolster wear on a driver's seat, of which I was looking at pictures of, which he denied existed then literally hung up on me. Didn't want to answer my questions and became very defensive.
